REBEL REBEL LISTENING SESSIONS

I am happy and proud to officially announce the REBEL REBEL LISTENING SESSIONS. It’s a project I’ve been thinking about and working on for some time, and finally, here we are! Even from the teaser published yesterday, the most observant had an idea of what it was about, asking me some obvious and justified questions that I will use to explain the project:

WHAT ARE THE LISTENING SESSIONS?
The idea is, as usual, quite simple:
You take a RECORD (chosen by me, but in the future, we could consider other options), sit back comfortably, present it, listen to it at SIGNIFICANT VOLUMES, and then analyse it, discussing it, sharing thoughts, emotions, and memories, perhaps with a beer or two. That’s music, that’s Rebel Rebel.

HOW OFTEN WILL THEY TAKE PLACE?
The plan is to make it a monthly event. In May, there will be the inaugural session, maybe a little something in the summer, and then from September, it will become a regular fixture.

DO I NEED TO BOOK? IS THERE A CHARGE?
Absolutely YES to the first question, and absolutely NO to the second. As you know, the space in the shop is what it is, so there will be a maximum limit of people. You can book via social media or directly in the shop.
There’s no charge; we’ll provide some drinks, but it would be nice if, over time, the drinks situation became a spontaneous and self-managed affair (in other words, everyone brings what they want!).

As promised, here are all the details for this year’s RECORD STORE DAY PARTY.

Just like last year, there will be a small yet delightful refreshment, from 11 until closing (or until supplies last 😅).

All the rarities arriving this year will be on display, along with the few gems left in the shop from previous years.

As always, we look forward to celebrating together, listening to great music, eating and drinking, toasting to music and life.

The spirit of REBEL REBEL will never change: music, friendship, unity, and exchange are and will remain our foundations.

We will provide the music, food, and drinks. You bring the rest. ♥

SATURDAY 22 APRIL: RECORD STORE DAY

RECORD STORE DAY has now become a well-established tradition for all music enthusiasts and particularly for record collectors.

On Saturday, 22 April, we at REBEL REBEL want to properly celebrate this great day by organising a special refreshment that will begin at lunchtime and continue until closing time (or until supplies last, goodness gracious).

All the rarities being released this year will be on display, along with a few gems from the past that are still available in the shop.

We look forward to celebrating this great day together, enjoying good music, eating, and drinking as a community.

As always, in the spirit of REBEL REBEL: music, friendship, unity, and exchange. These are our foundations. We will provide the music, food, and drinks.
